Annie Williams (CCS2 Sporting & Non-Sporting)
Throughout my life, I have always had dogs. It wasn't until my family bought our American Cocker Spaniel, "Domino", from a show breeder that I became involved in conformation dog shows. Shortly after I began learning to show dogs, I became entranced by the art of grooming.
As I started to learn more, my passion for grooming grew exponentially. Once I decided that I was really going to pursue grooming and potentially open a salon, I set my sights for grooming school. I was hand selected by a World Champion groomer, and endured an intense four-month training program in Alberta, Canada. I am an active member of the Canadian Professional Pet Stylists, and I have earned my Canadian Canine Stylist Level 2 Status in Sporting and Non-Sporting. I am currently studying for the next set of exams to further my certification. I am also trained Dogsafe Canine First Aid. I am also an internationally award winning groomer, with wins in Canada, the United States, and Australia. Almost every aspect of my life has some of way of being with dogs. I spend a hefty amount of time researching the latest styles and trends of dog grooming, and of course snuggling my own two dogs, Domino and Murphy. I take a lot of pride in my work and aim to please every customer that walks in my door. I consider myself one of the lucky ones, because I have made a profession through my passion. What I mean by this, is that I wake up every day excited to go to work and groom. I couldn't imagine doing anything else. |
